Organisational Structure

Trustees

This group of people are not involved in the day-to-day running of Youth Link, but they provide oversight and accountability to the organisation. They are made up of people with practical administration skills and those with a larger vision for the future. They work closely with the management team both to support them and to ensure no-one ever loses sight of the 'big picture'.

Management Team

This group carries the responsibility for the running of the premises and all the practical operations of Youth Link. They organise the staff and volunteers, administer the mentoring program, arrange other training and events, and actively look for fund raising opportunities. They provide the link between the Trustees and the rest of the people who assist Youth Link.

Staff and Volunteers

These form the largest part of Youth Link. They are people who generously give time to spend with the young people, most of them spend time on site offering a friendly ear and ensuring Youth Link remains a safe space, many of them also train to become mentors. Some of the volunteers who are able to give more significant and longer term input become regular members of staff.
