We are an organisation run by volunteers who are committed to being there for the young people of Heywood.

Some of the things we provide are:

  • A safe space where young people can drop in. The centre is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (6.00pm-9.00pm).
  • Mentoring partners who provide individual support and encouragement. Both adults and young people are trained to become mentors.
  • Various courses and programs to equip young people for the various challenges they face.
For more details regarding who we are see the About Us page. For more information about our activities, please see the Projects area.

Accredited Training Centre of Excellence

Here at the centre, we run courses to train adults to become Youth Mentors and young people to become Peer Mentors.
All our mentors work with the young people of Heywood on a voluntary basis, giving up their own time to help others.

Education & Empowerment

We offer education programmes and projects in which young people can choose to be involved. Personal and social development through learning about themselves, others and the world around them, can be achieved by youth work providing experiences with clear learning outcomes.
